Upgrading And Repairing PCs, 12th Ed.,  By Scott Mueller

Published by Que, 2000

This book is good for the novice and the professional!  It taught me how to correctly diagnose problems on my mother board that I would not have found in a million years.
I consider it my bible for trouble shooting and tweaking computers for extra performance.  It is my all in one comprehensive computer book that I carry with me to job sites for reference.  One of the greatest things about this book is that it is on the CD.  The CD also contains videos that teach you how to upgrade and fix almost all the problems you might find.

Scott Mueller is the computer Guru of the millennium!  His book is well worth the money and it will pay for itself for the do it yourself type person on the first repair or upgrade you do!  If you only buy one book to help you understand what is going on in your computer this should be it!  I rate his book 5 Stars.

So far it is living up to his previous book.
This book has nearly 2 hours of videos on how to upgrade and fix your computer yourself.
(for the beginner)
This book has the "Right stuff". I can't say enough praise at how much this book has helped me and others I know to get the job done right. It is very well explained and for those that need pictures and diagrams it has plenty of them (black and white only).
This book gets in depth on explaining the ins and outs of hardware and software.
It's comparisons of different types of hardware and software make it an easy to understand what you are looking at and what you should do when problems occur.

This book can teach the beginner to the novice and is well thought out and displayed.
This book falls into a must have 5 star rating and I am pleased to give a thumbs up also.
Please Scott keep them coming. With technology changing as fast as it does this book has keep me abreast of current trends and which way the manufacturers are moving in technology.
I'm not 10 steps behind now for having read this book.
